Spreading Holiday Cheer | Community Spirit

Some Johnston Community members are already looking ahead to the holiday season. The Johnston Community Education Resource Council isworking to bring holiday cheer to those in need through Project Share.

The idea of Project Share is to provide gifts to area children who otherwise might go without during the holidays.

Community members can pick up card with the gender and age of a child, and purchase a gift from the child's wish list.

Cards are available through the end of November at the Community Education Office, Johnston Public Library, and Johnston Charter Bank. Items on the wish list should range between $15 and $25.

Monetary donations are also accepted, they can be mailed to the Johnston Community Education Center at PO Box 10, Johnston IA 50131.
