PASTOR RETIREMENT: Farewell Celebrations Set | Events

Johnston’s St. James Lutheran Church will soon be saying farewell to their pastor.

Pastor Gregory Nelson Davis is retiring after twenty-eight years of service.

Farewell celebrations will include a Litany of Farewell and Godspeed in the Holy Communion liturgies on February 16th and 17th (5:00 P.M. Saturday; 8:30 and 11:00 A.M. Sunday); a brunch in the parish hall on Sunday, February 17th at 9:45 A.M.; and a dinner/dance at a nearby hotel in that evening. 

Parishioners are requested to RSVP by February 10th to the Parish Steward at 515-276-0134, if you would like to be included in the festivities.
