SAFETY WARNING: Man Grabs Johnston Student | News
A metro school district is issuing a word of warning to area parents.
Officials with the Johnston School District say an adult male grabbed a Johnston elementary school girl on a bike Tuesday night and it may have been an attempted abduction. It happened on a bike path in the Brookview Park neighborhood in Urbandale. The girl was able to get away and return home.
Police say the girl described the suspect as a skinny, white male with a goatee.
In the meantime, authorities are urging you to remind kids about proper safety measures.
