Police in Johnston are investigation what they say is a confirmed attempt of child abduction.
It happened Monday in the 10000 block of Windsor Parkway.
Police say a man motioned for a 10-year old boy to get into his truck. Police say the man then started pulling into the child’s driveway, but took off when the child ran inside.
Police say the child described the truck as a red two-door extended cab pickup with ‘Chevrolet’ across the tailgate.
