STAIRS COLLAPSE: Construction Accident | News
Two construction workers were injured Friday when stairs collapsed on them.
It happened at 6365 Merle Hay Road in Johnston at the site of the new Cornerstone Independent Living Facility.
The plans include an underground parking garage.
Workers put up a temporary staircase leading down into the garage and Friday morning just before 10:00 it collapsed.
The two workers were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
OSHA is being notified about the incident.
