SEND OFF: National Guard Soldiers Deploy | News
More than three dozen Iowa National Guard soldiers will say goodbye to their families and head to a deployment in Honduras.
The community will have a send-off ceremony for 40 soldiers from the 186th Military Police Company at1 P.M. December 2nd at Camp Dodge.
From Iowa, they’ll head to Fort Bliss, Texas, for additional training before heading to their assignment with Joint Task Force Bravo in Honduras.
The mission includes providing security and humanitarian aid to residents throughout the country.
